Export to Model Mode

• Click on the Export button in the upper left corner of the Room Estimator dialog. This will attach the entire layout to your cursor (it’s hard to see unless you zoom out by rolling the mouse wheel)

• Enter 0,0 from the keyboard and press the Enter key. This will drop the layout lower left corner at the origin.
• The Calculation Points – Automatic Placement dialog will open automatically. Notice the blue line is on the workplane which is set to 2.5 ft (from Room Estimator default)
• Change the point spacing to 5x5 (instead of 2x2). To do this click in the PointSpacingLR cell, enter 5, press tab. The TB cell will switch to 5 automatically.
• Click OK to complete the add points operation. You will now have calculation points across the room, 5 ft. on center.

• Click the Plan view button on the Main toolbar to get an Extents view of the project.
